The ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Harold and Bibby Alfond Center for Health Sciences at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, on the Portland Campus for the Health Sciences.

The event will celebrate the opening of this state-of-the-art facility, which is designed to advance collaborative health professions training and support the university’s mission to educate Maine’s next generation of health professionals. The new center will bring together ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ’s medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health programs onto one campus, creating opportunities for students to learn and work in integrated teams.

The opening marks a transformative milestone for the university and the state’s health care workforce.
